Isosaari is a unique destination in the Helsinki archipelago

Isosaari is an over 100 years old sea fortress a 40-minute boat ride away from the Helsinki Market Square. Isosaari is one of Helsinki’s outer islands and very rich in cultural history. Isosaari’s sights and nature are unique, the island is close to the city, yet free from it’s noise.

The island has excellent services, such as two restaurants, the Rikama Hall restaurant and and the Upseerikerho restaurant with Helsinki’s most fantastic terrace, two sandy beaches, three saunas, a guest marina, picnic spots, vasts areas of grass, well maintained roads, easy to read signs, guide services and Finland’s toughest par 3 golf course.

You can enter the island by a ferry leaving from the Helsinki Market Square, and spend night in a tent! We can serve both individual travelers as well as large groups, and you can also visit us with your own boat, and stay the night in our guest marina.
